What time zone is the SnapNames Order By date?

I think it's EST.
But the deadlines tend to be approximate for prerelease names.

A bit off? More like way off. I was watching a domain that was supposed to end 2.45AM 30th. I had a backorder on it which won the domain. But there is now way this was EST time. It was more like my local time. My time is +15hrs from EST time. So, could it be showing our local time?

In the search results, if you mouse-over the 'Order By' heading link , you will see:
"Order by (your local time)..."

Plus how it will show my local time if I'm in Europe - does anybody know?
