Snapnames questions???

I haven't used snapnames much since i've been domaining. I was wondering in relation to other methods of nabbing drops does most everyone use this as their preferred method? I've run more with godaddy backorder and pool.com with mediocre success so far.

Also if an auction is showing it will start on snapnames at a future date is it already predetermined that they already have rights to it through partners and whatnot?

Snap is definitely the most successful in getting the majority of dropping names out there. Especially if you see the name dropping from Network Solutions, Moniker, Website.in/Answerable.com, etc.

for your second question, it is not always that they catch the name even though the auction date says so in your pending orders. You'll need to check which registrar it is at in most cases. If they don't catch, they'll let you know and most times it'll be either at enom or pool.

There was a website posted here awhile back which showed which registrars names went where but I have lost that link.

Oh very nice, thanks for that ^^. I knew certain registrars were grabbed by/pre-dropped to certain sites I just didn know the whole list .
