HEllo NP,

I am thinking of joining an auction on SnapNames which ends this evening.

My question is: If it says bid is still $60 does that mean that there are 2 or more bidders but no one has raised their bid or is it also possible that there was no one bidding for the name and it will drop after today?

Thanks.

Fabian

recently, snapnames has put all their auctions to begin at $60, whereas some used to start at $9, $29, $49, etc. If the name is in "live auction" and has a specified end date, the name has already dropped and nobody has backordered it. so, snapnames puts it in a public auction which you can join by bidding $60. In all likeliness, you will be the only bidder, unless it is a generic or a name with expired traffic...in which case the bid would have been a lot higher anyway.

in short, the name has already dropped and you can probably get it for $60 if you bid!
