.tv Snapnames.com grabbing .TV now? Or did this always happen?

Was browsing DNjournal and saw that gals.tv sold for $1530 at snapnames.com. From a quick search I see RaviUTA (Nper) owned it. Did RaviUTA let it drop and did snapnames run an expired auction? Is this common practice for .TV I thought only TDNAM was grabbing expired .TV?

Ahh I see was pretty confusing report on DNjournal.

you may see a .tv on snap- from what i understand, unless i am wrong- they do have a program wher a seller can sell a name via snap- it is not an expiring name- the only prob is, you cant search for .tv with them, so now that i think about it, i dont know if you can sell that with them
