Hi all,
I've recently started a mixed martial arts company and we have two domains. isoMMA.com and MMA.BS. The company is MMA.BS and we have that domain which corresponds, unfortunately have learned that the .bs domain can hurt us as far as search engines go.
Right now we just have a rough site up while searching for a developer who can polish everything, and are only offering a news aggregation type setup. In the coming weeks we'll be adding a section that promotes ourselves and the MMA.BS brand, but for now, we're just providing a quick and easy resource for people while we complete construction on everything.
We're looking for help on anything. From SEO, guest bloggers, to site development. We'd at least like our custom logo integrated rather than the generic already there, and a different color scheme. We're more involved with the physical side of marketing ourselves at events and fighter sponsorships, so having a decently-placed website is a little beyond us and we're trying to keep the online costs low, at least initially.
Any help, tips and tricks, anything would be appreciated. Thanks!
