Hi guys,
I need to raise $4000 for two deals I have going here on NamePros and a flight to see my 7 year old brother on his birthday later this month, so I'm liquidating some names. I've tried the live auction with some good results, but I have never tried an auction here on the forums, so please help make a good impression and I'll start liquidating more solid domains here.
I'm starting with SlowGames.com beacause this domain should be easy to liquidate. It's made me over $1,500 in PPC earnings since I started parking it in 2004. The best month for earnings was April, 2006, when the domain name made $230.75 in one month of PPC. PPC revenue dropped way down on Fabulous because they stopped letting me optimize the domain for poker, so I have been using my own landing page for awhile. To prepare for this auction, I moved it for the last 30 days to Parked.com so I'd have nice screenshots available. It only made an average of 28 cents a day set to the game category. I'm trying it optimized for poker at Parked, and will upload newer screenshots as I get them. All the traffic is type-in traffic, with 60% coming from UK and 40% coming from US according to Parked. I'm uploading screenshots at JackNames.com.
To get this going, I'm starting the bidding at $1! I really hope that you guys will be fair and give at least a decent multiplier on the current monthly earnings, if not previous months. Besides the fact that it's made me $1500 without lifting a finger, it's a pretty domain name even without traffic. I bought the domain name because slow games is a poker term defined in Doyle Brunson's Super System glossary.
It would be so easy to slap up a game script on this guy and sitback and make a lot more. Or even just a landing page with affiliate links to the game sites that are out there like Real, etc. If you're on the lazy side, you can shop it around to better parking services and probably make a lot more, or just even optimize it better. I suspect PPC earnings will start to rise soon and this will be making $xxx/mo in PPC like it was back in 2006.
