Slightly Confused

Im pretty new to implementing websites from scratch , but I've always been good at actually designing them. Ive got the design I want, made in photoshop and I know that I have to slice it into separate parts and save as a webpage.

I've done this but from here on in im not quite sure what to do... I've heard that i need to set parts(content parts) as background images (I use Macromedia Dreamweaver) to put in the content . But when i do this my images go all over the place and I am just confused.

The image that i will be using for my website is below (attached), apologies if you dont understand what i am going on about. All help is appreciated.

I've got you on MSN now. The one thing that will be a pain to code is the dragon coming down so far. It interferes with both the main content and the navigation.
