Slideshow Options For Websites (Something easily updateable for a novice?)

If a novice wanted to use a slideshow on their website and wanted to be able to easily update the pictures that it would show, what would the best option be?

Is there a free script available (or something) that would randomly display pictures placed in a folder?

Any ideas?

I find that a lot of these are fairly difficult to put new pictures into though... Do you (or does anyone) know of any that would make it easy for a novice computer user to do this?

I'll have a look through these now but I'm still keen to hear back on anyones experiences...
