I checked into this, the tape is over a year old. I'm guessing this guy gets more money if they jump. He probably has something like a $15 parachute repacking fee he didn't want to loose out on, or he had 499 tandems, and he needed this for some 500 jump certification by tomorrow.

But I'm leaning towards him just being a sadist, you can see the force he needed to break her hold on the door's edges; and although she may have just turned 80, she was fighting with all her strength to stop that jump from happening.

I guess when you strap yourself to one of these gung ho "pros", they get to make the decisions, regardless of whether you decide to change your mind at the last moment. I can already hear that guy, " DUHHHH, I didn't think anything was wrong, DUHHHHH, she'll be OK, DUHHHHH."
