Quick story + asking for honest community input.
Picked up SkyBlock.ai a while back. The domain has been
sitting in my portfolio while I overthink the pricing.
Here's the data I'm wrestling with:
The "SkyBlock" reality:
- Generic gaming term (sandbox/voxel game-mode)
- Massive global recognition in gaming community
- Millions of monthly searches across platforms
- Used widely as descriptive term, not a brand name
The .ai reality:
- 2,008 new .ai domains registered DAILY in 2026
- Anguilla made $93M from .ai in 2025
- LLL.ai average sale: $58K
- Gaming + AI = one of fastest-growing crossovers
Comparable sales I can find:
- Gaming .ai domains in $1K-$10K range typical
- Two-word descriptive .ai: $500-$3,000 wholesale
- Brandable AI gaming: harder to pin down
My options:
OPTION A: Quick flip at $750
Pros: Fast cash, NamePros community-friendly price
Cons: Maybe selling too cheap
OPTION B: Hold and list on Atom Premium ($2K-$5K)
Pros: Higher ceiling, end-user demand exists
Cons: 25-30% commission + wait 6-18 months
OPTION C: Outbound to gaming SaaS startups directly
Pros: Could hit $3K-$8K with right buyer
Cons: Time investment, uncertain ROI
What I'm asking:
For experienced .ai investors and gaming domain folks โ
what would YOU do with this name?
Real talk welcome. If you think $750 is a steal,
I'll happily sell it here. If you think I'm crazy
to sell that low, tell me why with data.
If anyone wants it at $750 BIN before I make up my mind โ
PM me. First serious wholesale offer takes it.
Domain Details:
Domain: SkyBlock.ai
Registrar: Namecheap
Renewal: ~$80/year (.ai standard)
Expiry: [10th July 2026 ]
Payment: Afternic
Genuinely curious what the community thinks.
Either way โ appreciate your input.
