Sites that sell traffic

I thought about these sites who are selling traffic, 10000 visitors for a couple of 100$. I belive they have lots of small sites on free hosting companies, who like most small sites gets a few visits a day. But they direct the visitors to the site who have bought the service.

Anyways to produce a large number of sites there must be some programs involved. First to make or copy a large number of sites and then to make accounts for them on the free host. A computer must be able to do that all the way to the security code that most signup sites use wich the human have to write.
So do you know wich programs that could be used, or how it's done if I'm wrong.

Dont pay those companies anything. Most of them just release a bunch of bots to crawl your site and make it look like you're recieving thousands of visitors.

Sometimes, these companies display your site in a small popup window on an infected computer. So, someone tries to start some program like KaZaa and a popup comes up with your site in it, so they automatically close the window and think that your site is spam.

At the best your site will be listed on one of those "Click" networks where thousands of people just sit and click through sites to generate traffic. The people in return recieve credit for someone to click on their site (but usually the ratio is like 10 clicks to get one visitor to go to your site). Anyways, those people dont give a crap about your site and its pointless to pay CASH for something like that.

Stick to domain traffic forwarding for fresh visitors.

Yes, I understand that, but I was a little bit curious of how they do. I mean I read about some guys that produce a large number of simple sites and in that way recived a large number of visitors while directing them to another site.
I just wondered if there are programs that can do this.

Oh, yeah there is software that sets up those type of sites. I never used them but I heard alot of people talking about it, and from what I've heard, these types of programs are becomming unpopular since search engines can detect automatically generated websites (only what I heard, can't confirm)

You can probably do a google search to find software like that.

Do this fenomena have a special term or name? I mean you need to search for some kind of word or phrase. I have no sucess with just "make multiple sites" or something similar.

You should search for "Web Page Generator". I found a few sites right off the bat like

A lot of poeple do this but I'm not too excited about this since I always enjoy developing real things instead of just trying to find quick ways to make quick money.

I wouldnt recommend you doing it either.

(those companies which you talk about don't create sites, they create web pages).

I checked your links mf. However these packages create one central webpage with lots of webpages linked to it. Is that the same as creating a lot of independent webpages. See little experience show that you allways get a few 10 or so visitors daily even to the smallest site. Do these subpages act the same, I mean is it reasonable to belive that each one of these subpages probably will get a few visitors each, per day as if they would have been independent?

I dont think its completely true that you will get 10 visitors per day to your site no matter what. You might get some bot to crawl your site making it look like you got a visitor, but actual visitors would not be 10. I had sites that have been up for months but had 0 visitors, but a sub folder within the main site with its own domain would recieve hundreds of visitors each month.

Anyways, the rule of thumb is that you will get about one visitor per day per page. So, if your site has 10 pages then, yeah, you will get about 10 visitors per day. If your site has 1000 pages, they you will likely get 1000 visitors per day.

You could also have 100 websites each with 10 pages, bringing you the same 1000 visitors each day, but you will have more expenses each month.

Alright I understand, thank you. You say there will be more expenses, are there a thumb rule there as well to count the costs of the traffic?
I mean if I would have 10 000 pages would that draw much more bandwith than if I would get 10000 visitors per day to my 10 page site?

Otherwise teoretically you could make many websites with a huge amount of pages on these free hosting companies and send the traffic to another site with not as many pages.

most of the time its guys from big sites selling traffic they dont want

like say i own a uk shopping website that only delivers to the uk, there aint much point in getting trafiic from asia because i dont deliver there so i set up my server to 301 all asian traffic to my buddies adsense site, the CTR isn't as high as with organic visitors but at least the traffic is doing something rather than wasting my bandwidth.
