Site created by someone on Sitepoint, and is probably one of the nicest designs I've seen.
It runs on CGI script, and as you can see form the added menu links, it allows logging into places like MySpace, YouTube etc.

The other added advantage this one has is that there is no mention of it being a proxy within the domain name, or any of the site text - hence will not be blocked immediately by some firewall settings looking for such keywords.

I think the domain name also has some value, and is very brandable.

btw there is something wrong regarding the bandwidth in your awstats, its showing 106MB bandwidth for Sep.?!?!

Yes they do, I have 3 others with them on my account, although they do tag them as a 'Proxy' category.

I'll look into the BW stats, but both AWstats and Webalizer are reporting similar numbers, so must be an issue at my server cPanel level.

At the current bid, this site is a bargain and would break my heart to sell at this price.

Based on just current revenue x 10 I'll set the BIN at $250

Transfer help is no problem. Even easier if you have a hosting account with cPanel?

In the meantime, the sys admin has temporarily suspended the domain to try and update the bandwidth stats.

Should be up in approx 1 hour.

OK, some others have asked for an update on stats so here they are.
Do remember the site was off-line for a couple of days and it can be seen that traffic came back as soon as on-line again. Good sign of external links, search engines, and regular users - don't forget PR3 ranking as well.

I honestly can't believe no-one has offered the BIN for this site yet!
If I didn't have too many Proxy sites on same server (a VPS), I would not let it go.

1. Don't really want to expose the site users, almost defeats the purpose of them using a proxy.

2. I'd also be giving away competitive information

I'd just like some proof traffic is coming from natural sources even be it advertisement but no payed visitors ect.
