First off, I would like to say great idea, the functionality of the site is great. The design however is lacking. It is a bit bland for my tastes. The header is a bit blurry (especially the people in it) and could realistically be a lot better. Maybe consider hiring a professional to create a new header image for you (that alone would give the site a much stronger feel). Maybe consider adding a background (have the body in it's own color and on either side of the body have the background). Also, a favicon is a must!
