Established Site for sale: 170k average Unique visitors/mth

Hi everyone, I have a blogging website service that I am considering selling.

History of site

This blog service provider was started 4.5 years ago, and was at one point acclaimed to be far better than blogspot.com until google bought it over. It provides free blogging services. Throughout all these years, the highest unique visitors ever recorded was 772,570 in the month of October. At one point, it held the top spot result for blogging sites if one were to type 'blog' in google.

Revenue Earned

The highest revenue ever made in 1 month was $1300+ just from google ads alone. Generally, the average monthly earnings are $400 - $700. We have never advertise third party banners or ads from other companies before.
However, it is highly possible to sell each banner ad for $200 - $300 each a month to any companies advertising considering the huge amount of traffic the site receives. This would add on to the income already gotten via google adsense.

Maintaining the site

It has over 50k+ active blogs, final figure to be confirmed soon. Site does not requires much maintenance except deletion of porn blogs which can be done via a manual script due to google adsense TOS. However if the new owner can get a designer and have a new, sleek template and add some latest features. The site can boom back to become one of the top blog service provides again.

Current stats

The highest unique visitor is 240k+ this yr in feb. The traffic generally increases coming to the end of the year. Average Unique visitor from Jan this yr to now per month is 170k uniques.

Site has many student users from Singapore as it was advertised through the students network in most schools.

Reason for selling

I do not have much time to spend on upgrading the site, I believe if someone can take over and do some improvements on layouts and features, the site will reach even a greater height and I look forward to seeing that happen.

Offers over 13k+ The sale of this thread is closed now. If no one can hit BIN, I have decided to hire people to do a major revamp on it and bring it all the way to one of the top again.

I have done a survey of 13 bloggers btw blogspot and our blog site, 12 of them concluded that the control panel in our bloggy site is much easier to navigate, nicer to use and the functions are somewhat the same. They also mentioned it is much more organized than blogspot. Thus the only thing is needed is to revamp the website template and advertise on SBS sites and bloggy will be on its way to the top again.

Therefore the possibility of bringing bloggy all the way to the top as before again as highly possible.
