Those of us who work in telephony have lived with SIP for some years now.
As soon as the first Blackberry came out I wanted to put a SIP phone on it.
Now with the advent of WM5 (that is Windows Mobile) and higher connection speeds it is a reality to put a SIP (Session Initiated Protocol) phone on your PDA/Cell.
The advantage to this is that you do not need a cell plan at all... just a data plan.... 'nuff said ?

While I don't want to perpetuate this I feel that the visit from the "etiquette police" is unwarranted. I made no personal attack (unlike your good self) which is against the TOS of this forum.

The reason this forum exists is to assess value of domains not to make the rest of the community aware that one is ignorant on a particular topic.

Both your post and that of emega carry no intrinsic value. My posts provide information that is pertinent to the subject.

If you have nothing of value to say I would suggest that you refrain from saying it. THAT, I believe, is etiquette and a social skill that you may do well to learn.
