Sipence account holders.

I have talked to Enom/Sipence rep today and was told the following..

Sipence
*New Accts: will be created as Enom account
*Old Sipence Accts: Can only free domain push among already-created Sipence accounts
*Domain Push: No free push with Enom accounts

For those who have domains in a Sipence account, the only way you can transfer the domain with Enom as of now is to transfer them through the traditional domain transfer procedures.

No clue why. Enom said it was a bug that enabled Sipence users to push their domains to Enom accounts before Jan 2005. This increase of reg prices, total separation between the 2 registrar does not look good to me. It seems like Enom is following the steps of Godaddy.

Contact eNom and demand that they move your now locked in Sipence names to another eNom account, FOR FREE, which you have, if you dont have one well obviously you'll need to open one. They have moved names for free from Sipence to eNom for other clients so you should have this option as well.

They offered to move my names over but after all the Club Drop bs and loss of a name I really wanted I told them I will simply transfer out of eNom entirly before they require renewal...

that is crazy....do they think people are stupid and don't know that they can transfer their names away. I feel sorry for the people who put autorenew down and renew their names at $29.95 yesterday and today....

I removed my CC info right away, they tried to bill me 4x $39.95 for Club Drop stuff they caught but obviously the transaction failed they kept asking to update my CC info via email but I said no way hose!

It's been a few months now since the last post in this thread, but I wanted to mention that I tried again today and was able to push all my Sipence names (about 25) into my regular Enom account. Phew! Now I don't have to transfer them all manually.

This is bizarre - I don't know what to make of this and I'm still mad at them. I'm not sure what Enom's role in all of this is... I noticed that Sipence's website was down today too. I haven't checked in awhile, but I wonder if someone took all the cash and ran.

I remember this a few months ago, somehow a few .info variations of my names were registered in my name which made me start thinking someone was trying to steal my identity. It took me a while enom registered names using customers info. If you contact enom or the reseller they can delete the name for you

Thanks to cybernym for reviving this thread. Sipence won't load for me either, but I logged into Enom with my Sipence username and password, then pushed all my Sipence names to my real Enom account.

Yep, just like eCalc said -- just login to Enom. Really weird.

well i suggest that you move ur names asap, before they stop these transfers again..
