[CLOSED] Simple design contest - $30 reward.

Please check the front page of www.aardwolf.com. In the center column between 'Location: Home' and the 'Play Aardwolf' button is an image. I'd like to replace that imagine with a banner that more inspires a visitor to click 'play now'.

The competition is basically to pick any of the banners at http://www.aardwolf.com/banners/index.htm, remove the 'Aardwolf.com' from it (after all, at that point they're already at aardwolf.com) and place a clear bright 'play now' button. If doesn't have to be one of the existing banners if you feel something else would look better, but the competition prize was based on not having to create a banner from scratch. As most of the Artwork for this is already done I believe the $30 is a fair price but if I'm mistaken, please do let me know.

The current front page image is 400*120 and most of the banners are 468*60 or 468*80. I'd think any combination of image size between these ranges would be fine. Again, you're the experts, so whatever you think will look good in the page.

Competition ends 5 days from time of posting.

As a side note, I will be looking for someone to work with on graphics for a custom game client in the future. If you have experience with game graphics and a portfolio to demonstrate, please PM me.

I really like this. The only thing I would ask is if the "Play now" could be just very slightly larger and very slightly brighter.

Obviously it's early yet. But after seeing this we're at "See if someone else beats it" rather than "Waiting for something we would consider using".

I like both these banners, nothing I can say about them negative. Overall though, I do prefer the appearance of the first banner so far.

Correct, ends at 5p or so board time. SF1010 that's a nice submission too, only thing I would say on that is that the "play now" would need to be a little brighter and just a little less elaborate making it easier to read.

Well it's past the 5 days since posting, and I'm having trouble choosing between the last one from SF2010 and the very first entry from Xavier_3d.

Xavier, you had mentioned if that you were the winner you'd make the play now just very slightly larger and a little brighter. Are you prepared to do that as one of the final two so that I can see how it looks?

SF2010, same thing, but with the 'play now' brighter / not darkened at the bottom of the font and the red button brighter. It could use just a little color somewhere too, perhaps just a little on the moon in the background?

I'm assuming NP rules wouldn't object to me just picking them both. Anyone know for sure? It would be trivial to just have the site rotate the two and that way I dont have to choose
