Shuzam!

Hi,

I registered the domain Shuzam.com with ALL relevant extensions.

I was planning on using it to create a mobile-friendly search engine or some type of media-related site. What do you think of the idea? Do you have any suggestions? I may just sell it if I am unable to develop it.

Hi,

Shuzam! is a word that Pyle from the tv show "Gomer Pyle" would say in a moment of amazement. It is a word that expresses a "eureka" moment.

It is also similar to the word shazam that was used by the comic book hero Captain Marvel. So it also has a magical feel that expresses a positive change. I was thinking about using it to create a mobile-friendly search engine. I view it as such:

The Power to Find Anything​

It is no different than the words Google, YouTube or Yahoo! Its short, catchy and memorable. What makes it even better is that both the .com and .mobi are a set. If I am unable to develop it, I will sell it.

You are correct in your assessment of the spelling. I could not register shazam . So I decided to spell it the way my friends and I pronounce it.

Either way, both shazam and shuzam are made-up words that sound catchy and are easily remembered. With continued use/branding it will be remembered the way I have spelled it. The value of any "non-premium" keyword should be based on the factors that have been repeatedly stated by members of this site.

I still like the sound of the name. It conjures up images of something magical.
