Thanks to @Lox we now know, that Microsoft owns the domain copilot .si

SI, clearly, stands for Super Intelligence in this case.

Do you own any .si domains?

I'll start with the one I have;

Roboter .si

How about you?

Any domain can simply be redirected to a Microsoft page. In this case, MarkMonitor is the registrar, so Microsoft may be their client. Still, this isn't a .si but .com domain.
Interesting.

Copilot.si is forwarded to Microsoft.com while copilot.ai does not resolve. I believe I read this elsewhere in this forum, so excuse the double (triple ...) post.

Copilot.com and Copilotai.com are developed businesses with no compelling relationship to Microsoft. Does anybody know some background?

The company on Copilot.com is based in New York and has 10-50 employees.
Their Twitter/X account started in May 2020.
They have Series A funding from Y Combinator in 2023. They may well have other funders.
Their website shows the resources that they offer, in the business services range including financial management, lead processing, tech and more.

The domain name copilot.com has been continuously registered since 1995. I did not dig deep, but did not immediately find when they began using it. There is no sale listed in NameBio for the name.

The WaybackMachine sows use of copilot.com going back at least to early 2000's but I did not try to figure out when the current company began to use the term. Here is link: https://web.archive.org/web/20240000000000*/copilot.com

There were many hundreds of companies that use or have used the name Copilot (OpenCorporates list 344 active, but keep in mind there are regions of globe they don't have records for). Just because Microsoft adopts the name for a major product does not mean that other companies lose rights to the term.

The term copilot was apparently first used in the current sense in 1927, almost one hundred years ago.

PS for the domain name CopilotAI.com it has been continuously registered since 2018, had a tiny status in 2019, and the WaybackMachine shows development since 2020. I did not dig through the records to see if that was the company currently on it. https://web.archive.org/web/20240000000000*/copilotai.com

Copilot.si is also not .si domain? What's the point of saying that .com is not .si? No one has ever claimed otherwise.

Wait, your posting was about CopilotSI.com, not Copilot.si.

Please read thread title, the thread is about .si domains.

Sure, since the discussion of the Copilot.si domain, which belongs to Microsoft, there have been rumors that Copilotsi.com also belongs to Microsoft, but the domain was not used in any way before. Now, traffic is redirected to a main site. That is, the assumptions that were discussed earlier have been confirmed.

Bob should never be automated.
How do you know I am a real person and not an automated bot?! :-P
No one has seen me at a real face-to-face major domain meeting since 2019.
Bot and Bob, they start with the same first 2 letters โ€“ did you notice that? Surely not chance.
Bob is for Robert. Did you notice that Robot and Robert are remarkably similar?
Notice how often I have written about AI, superintelligence and all!? Very fishy.

Being serious, thanks for pointing out that my last name is available in .si, but I will be leaving it. I don't have a use for it personally, and although there are 1793 active businesses and organizations listed on OpenCorporates with Hawkes (some as address) I still think odds of one wanting .si is probably lowish. At moment I am trying to reduce, not add, to my number of domains. Somewhat surprising hawkes is only registered (exact) in 53 TLDs.

If you are a bot that would mean that we have already achieved ASI and our domains should increase in value :xf.cool:

Excellent to see some positive news on the .si forefront. I can understand why they would have purchased or registered Copilot.si but Copilotsi.com threw me off.

Is there any more traction to share, other than just the news around copilot? New end-users in the .si domain who have purchased domains from one of you? By all means, mention them.

Is the lack of developed .si domains in the "intelligence" field concerning to any of you super intelligent (.si) domain investors?

Notice how one of these search results si not like the other?:

1. site:*.Ai "intelligence"

2. site:*.Bi "intelligence"

3. site:*.Si "intelligence"

Ignore the TLD - Google shows the following search results:
"artificial intelligence": 1,540,000 k
"business intelligence": 166,000 k
"super intelligence": 539 k

We are early.

"super intelligence": 539 k
Strictly speaking superintelligence is a single word. If instead one does "superintelligence" Google search shows 1.32 million (my search agrees with your 539k when a space is inserted).

But with either, like you say, it is early days for superintelligence โ€“ artificial intelligence has been a used term much longer.

I see your point, albeit there's several one word .bi domains developed in the business intelligence niche, whereas there don't appear to be any one word .si domains developed in the superintelligence niche despite the lower search results...

Can anybody point me to at least (one) one-english-word .SI domain developed in english? (in any niche)

The age/use of the term is probably more relevant than amount of search results...
