This name sold before the Super Intelligence discussion. Whatever, it seems completely overpriced to me. If I remember correctly it was Frank Schilling who said that one man‘s crap is the other man‘s treasure. (Or similar.)

This TLD needs real-life adoption for super intelligence by a relevant enduser and more support by well-known masterminds like LOX and Bob Hawkes. Imagine Rick Schwartz tweet about his purchase of a .si name. IMHO

I do not follow dot.ai much so I don‘t know why and when this TLD took off. Would be interesting to recall and look for parallels. Anybody?

Excellent points friend. All domains are now in alphabetical order thanks to OpenAI. I can add the global search results slowly. Domain extensions is a great idea also.

I would prefer table format with 4 columns. Last column: highest reported SLD sale in other TLD.

Delete obvious TM issues like AppleIntelligence dot si. This hurts your objective of promoting .si.

And please delete the sale of Silicon.si. I regged this one in 2008 and it sold on Sedo but the buyer never paid. This seems ok for Sedo and Namebio but we should not share semi-truth.

Another point: Is it allowed to grab listings of marketplace databases and work them into a new source? Possible conflict of Copyright vs Sharing Economy? I am no lawyer just suffering German Angst.

Update:
Currently stuck in 60 day hold. This was my mistake as I should have kept ONLY at Dan.com instead of Afternic until the hold was over. Dan.com is able to push automatically before the 60 day hold with no issues.

I listed at Afternic not thinking this would sell before 60 days. Afternic has reached out to buyer multiple times to try and push the domain with no response. In the meantime, funds and domain held in limbo until the lock is over or sale cancelled. So this will be on snooze until 2024-08-18 22:46:16 UTC

I published this a month ago, but on quick glance don't see it linked in this discussion. As well as covering the history and use of the term superintelligence, I do mention some aspects of .si domain names.

Personally, I try many things, so a month or so ago I did try 5 .si domain names in total. I guess my favourites would be:

• rate.si
• cosmic.si
• boundless.si

I am considering one now, but don't have plans for more acquisitions than that right now. Best wishes to all.

Called AN today, and they assured me the funds are safe. I initially listed the domain and intended to reprice it, not expecting it to sell so quickly (less than 30 days), as "Super intelligence" wasn't in the forefront. Rookie mistake as I potentially missed out on 10X this amount or more. Oh well, I'll reinvest in other names.

Now, I wonder what the preferred new trend will be: OpenSuperIntelligence, OPENSI, OSI, Open Safe Super Intelligence, OPENSSI, and the list goes on.

Any domain can simply be redirected to a Microsoft page. In this case, MarkMonitor is the registrar, so Microsoft may be their client. Still, this isn't a .si but .com domain.
