Hello pros

With the numeric domains market heating up , most of us , if not all, have registered or bought some domains in the form of N7s , N8s , and N9s. I was not able to find a similar thread dedicated to this topic and for just showcasing the domains so mods if you find, you know what to do :)

Using this thread ,lets showcase what each one of us have , stating whether you hand regged or bought it from someone. You can also list your latest acquisitions in here.

Please note, this is not a thread for discussion about what is good ..e.g N7 , N8 , or N9. This thread is for showcasing what you have...your gems...(to everyone, what he or she has is a gem :) ) .

Let me start with my latest domains which I hand regged. Yes, I like them lol..

N9
8888-9-9898

N8

6882- 8382

77-78-98-98 .

I have many others but those three are the latest

Ok pros... Lets see what you got :)

Thanks to the courtesy of DomainEmpire (thanks again :)), I decided to try my luck with selected domains from his extensive list of numerics available to reg. I completely avoided 7N dot coms and went for 8N ones instead, due to, quite frankly, a crapload of 8's in each of these :P

Great! Keep us updated about the "4" situation...
I only have a handful of VERY SELECTED 8N, some "hybrids" and 9N plus some hybrids..wel..ok..I have a few 6 and 7N but not outstanding I think

Not parked per se, but they have DNS landers on them. All that matters to me is to have some idea of traffic for individual names, which landers are perfectly good for as they are.

Well, I figured that since most (if not all) 7N's worth having are gone, why not take advantage of 8N's with abundance of 8's in them.

So I'm jumping on the Chinese Numerical Bandwagon.

There are still a lot of interesting hand registrations available.

For example, I recently registered 987653210 (9N), which is a rare “倒顺子” domain, because it's one of only two numbers that contain every numbers (except unlucky 4) arranged in order. I wish I had 012356789 dot com to match :-D

Also just registered:

87653210 (8N) - 8 to 0 arranged in order...without 4.
7653210 (7N) - 7 to 0 arranged in order... also without 4.

and also:

881888818 (9N)
818888188 (9N)

If anyone's interested, I'm thinking of throwing up an auction soon.

I like the top one the best, have fun renewal time, "go long or go home' or "go long go broke"
~
Ummmm

em, hm, i only understood you like the first one, or what?
you mean $$$$ that i will have to pay for renewal?
you think they dont worth to be regd?
it looks like a good pattern.
finally i will keep 200 names for a few years, maybe 3 years.
200 x9$ =1800$ each year
1 domain x 3 years = 9 x3 =27$
keep each domain 3 years will cost me $27
They worth more than $27 now, and will cost more in a 3 years :)
I will not keep all I reg, some I will sell now or in a few month.
But 9N will keep, they worth it.

I do like the long names but the do not wish to be too exposed, the rego fees could add up to one decent 5N with good capitol growth. Just saying not to go crazy with the long stuff, i much prefer 188808881.com over 788838887.com For me it's about picking the cream and leaving the rest, knowing when to walk away is the key imo, good luck

I have my reason to reg them too :)
Anyway, they surely worth more than reg fee

How do you reach the value at $27 now ?

Not now.
I want to keep the most of my 9N at least 3 years.
At Namesilo I pay 9$ for the renewal.
3 years x $9 = $27
But really I pay less.
Observe that almost all my domains are regd at 1and1.
The first year at 1and1.es costs from this month 7€ (before was 6€) at 1and1.es or $9 at 1and1.com
Also I can 5 times reg 3 names and pay only for 2 of them.
But I use 2 different accounts and can 10 times reg 3 and pay for 2.
I use all discounts of 1and1 during the first year and after that I transfer all to Namesilo.
I pay for the tansfer but Namesilo gives me 1 year, so I pay 1 year.
Anyway, it cost $27 to reg a name and keep it 3 years.
I am sure each one of my 9N will cost more than $27 in 3 years.

You can basically get 3 years reg for same most places ?

I know but I really have my reason to reg at 1and1 names that I plan to keep a few years.

+1

almost all my domains are regd at 1and1.

Well good luck with selling them!!! Domainers DO NOT really want to eork with 1and1 AND transferring out is a nightmare. The number one rule in this forum is "stay away from 1and1"....

i sold enough domains regd at 1and1
anyway, all my good 9n are regd at 1and1 and this will not affect to any sale, because i will move them to namesilo next year, and i dont plan to sell them quickly.
the transfer cost $9 (sometimes less) and it is nothing if the domain is good.
if i reg at 1and1 it means i have my reason to do it, and i really happy to reg there.

I hear a lot of time here that 1and1 is awfull, but when I was asling WHY, they were telling me "everybody says it".
Domains that was sold and transfered from my 1and1 account had no problem with transfer.
I recieved email, I confirm it and domains were gone... without problem..

I believe there have been quite a few threads on the forum about them but you can simply ask around and/or google it..I am sure you will find all the answers you need.
Anyway, this is not a 1&1 thread.

It was not me who opened a 1and1 theme.
I reg there because they send me billing 1 month after and wait 2 month before take money and it is OK for me now.
For me it is excellent, I have a lot of time until I have to pay, I dont know if it is a 1and1 billing strange bug or Paypal issue but I regd and sold domains before recived the billing, so I paid it from my sales incommings.
I reg at 1and1 since 2009 and always is was the same, billing lates, I dont know why.
I have also Namesilo account and I am very happy with it, and also have GD account but hate there interfase and dont like to buy there.
Each one reg where is better for him.
