Hello pros

With the numeric domains market heating up , most of us , if not all, have registered or bought some domains in the form of N7s , N8s , and N9s. I was not able to find a similar thread dedicated to this topic and for just showcasing the domains so mods if you find, you know what to do

Using this thread ,lets showcase what each one of us have , stating whether you hand regged or bought it from someone. You can also list your latest acquisitions in here.

Please note, this is not a thread for discussion about what is good ..e.g N7 , N8 , or N9. This thread is for showcasing what you have...your gems...(to everyone, what he or she has is a gem ) .

Let me start with my latest domains which I hand regged. Yes, I like them lol..

I think that the biggest sales will be 6N then 8N and 9N..
Not sure about the 7N.
Of course this is just my interpretation.

I can be wrong of course but if numbers are so important and meaningful for Chinese couldn't we assume that the length will be as important as the numbers in it?

Excluding the super short strings like 3/4/5 which sell because super memorable ( even though I have seen several 6N selling higher than 5N... ) what do we think they will focus on?
Well
6 is mainly a lucky number ( super lucky in triplets )
7 is the runner up after 4 in the most inauspicious numbers
8 is the golden number
9 is positive under any perspective.

So my conclusion is that if I were Chinese I would rather go with 6N, 8N and 9N over 7N because I could have lucky numbers in a lucky number string..
I hope I made sense trying to explain it lol.

You made perfect sense and that is exactly how it should be. Let add thia too, it is easier to remember an 6N or N8 or N9 compared to a 7 , because it is also about easily remember.

Lets compare the following domains.

88872838.com which 8N and 77789898.com

And N7

7828808.com. And 8802838.com

And N9

888899898.com

Now compare.

With 8,9,6 Ns. You have many ways to remember e.g 888899898.com ،you habe alteast two ways to remember.... 8888-9-9898 or 88889-9899.

Now the N7 ...8802838.com.....how is it possible to remmeber? Lets see... 880-2838? Or 8802-838? Even with worse numbers, it will be problem..even 880-2-838 ?

It is not just the numbers... See this for example... 5868782...is N7/and can easily be remembered as 58-68-78-2 ...first six numbers are related and one after other in a way thay makes it easy to remember .

So dont just assume that your domains has all the lucky numbers of the Chinese but think about this next time you try to register a numeric domain regatdless of its lenght. If you cant associate with yourself how it can be easy to remember the domain you are regging then it is better not to regg and try to find something else.

I agree and I hope people will understand that too and will stop registering/buying names for the sake of it.
Just because a name sold for xxx or x,xxx it doesn't mean that if you put together the same digits but in a different sequence you will get the same!

1234888 DOES NOT EQUAL 8123884 for example.

For me it is :
digits
pattern
string length
and a successful name SHOULD combine the three of them.

I am not saying the others won't sell but they will be average sales imo. With this said though, for the majority of us it still "experimenting" as we have not much clue about Chinese and Chinese culture so I suppose that a few bumps and mistakes have to be allowed.
