As far as I can see there is no thread for showcasing your domain hack...eg IotGui.de
I looked on the search option but did not see. If there is and its a case of me not looking properly admin feel free to delete.
A domain hack is a domain name that suggests a word, phrase
Eg gamingarca.de suggest the word Gaming Arcade.
Eg breifca.se suggest briefcase
and just thinking of that you can also have the plural breifcas.es
and if those are snapped up we know who you are \o/ lol.
So the ones I have are
IOTgui.de IOT guide
VRgui.de VR guide
IOTco.de IOT code
IOTcod.es IOT codes
The reason I got them, from looking around here VR and IOT seem to be selling good these days. So with that in mind I started looking for short names that could be used as a word hence IotGui.de
Maybe a German company like Bosch will come along and see value in that name.
Same idea for IOT code.
Not as strong as IOT guide but IOT needs coding so maybe a tech company will see value in that name.
EDIT After writing all this I noticed that I can have IOTcod.es so I went and got it while writing this.
Confession time:
I bought IoTGui.com thinking "internet of things" & "graphic user interface"
all incorporated to a simple 6l domain name.
On the suggestion sidebar it came up iotgui.co.uk so I started playing around with country domains and found IotGui.de Ok, I'll take it.
The reason I took .DE over other ones is from what I can see .DE is a consistent seller.
The next day I was looking at it and then in my mind, hold on, that reads IOT Guide.
Maybe thats better value than Internet of things graphic user interface!
So by complete accident I fell into owning a domain hack, and I didn't even know it at the time.
So namepros showcase your domain hack names and why you choose them
Just a quick note maybe its better to put your domain first
then the name that makes sense.
It makes it easier to read for those on phones etc.
