You guys are wasting your money. It’s Calibra and you are marching around a trademark and asking for problems.

Calibra is Facebooks wallet for the crypto called Libra. Libra and Calibra are not the same. The crypto is Libra. Facebooks Libra Wallet app is Calibra. Big difference.

Although Facebook spearheaded the start of Libra, they do not control it. It is controlled by a consortium called the Libra Association, which Facebook is one member of many. The Libra Association has referred to Libra as decentralized and open source. The Libra Association encourages developers and businesses to develop products around the Libra Blockchain. They even go as far to say they want Libra Wallets to compete with Facebooks Calibra Wallet.

Today I found a name that I really liked and there happen to be a few exact match used in different extensions. I was a bit surprised it wasn't taken in .com.

Next, I searched for active TM's for the word "calibra" and there are many.

So I feel relatively safe with the domain registration.

The domain I hand registered today is Calibra+Lab+.com

Let's clear it up.

Calibra will be the equivalent of Coinbase. Does it make sense to reg something like CalibraMarket? If you like piggybacking off a trademark.

Libra, alternatively, has been proclaimed the new name of FB's cryptocurrency--which they tout as a decentralized currency for the 'unbanked.'

We will trade libra's on marketplaces. If it is to become a rival to Bitcoin like it's creators wish...it will be entered into the digital lexicon--thus becoming a dictionary word.

Would Facebook launch UDRP's against ('libra') domains that help to create a decentralized network--probably not. Unless it wants to shoot itself in the foot.
