That one confused me as well, had to Google it. So what is the technology behind some Indian film actor and is buying some actor's name a good idea?

Also, .tech is coming. Why would people want some super long extension, 10 letters?

I still take technology over tech for my domain, tech doesnt not necessarily means technology when you put it in the sentence.

.tech is better but every good or even mediocre domain is reserved or priced at $1,000+/yr. You can check some prices at name.com

Why is tech better? Really depends how each is applied. Service.tech is not the same as Service.technology. And would .tech be short for technology, technical, technician or technicality? All different fields.

There is no official website of Rajinikanth..The websites are actually run by his fans...I'm in confusion if you are having plans of developing it? If so, why did you choose a .technology for an actor?

In some cases, yes, it depends on the first word. But in general, for a keyword that fits good both extensions I think .tech is more valuable than .technology (assuming they have the same renewal per year)
