Why does the service be restricted in one country just because it is a ccTLD?
.tv, .me, .co and much more ccTLDs are commonly used worldwide.

You need to have a look what those are used for and what the letters could stand for (acronyms, abbreviations etc)

.CO - it can stand for corporation, Company, Community, Colorado etc etc
.TV - the commonly use 2 letter acronym on the planet I would imagine, understood in every country and popular with TV, media, entertainment sites
.ME - makes sense outside Montenegro, specifically when use in names like Fly.me...Move.me, Track.me etc

.TK is not a common acronym for much if you google it

I only mentioned the most used. What about .cc, .io, .gs (not just hacks), .vg, .im, .pw etc.
Of course, most of the developers associate the keyword with the ccTLD to make it look more friendly by creating "brands".

It's not a point of winning. I was aware about .tk domains. I only went after the keyword which is taken in almost any TLD. It was a simple hand reg og about 20 EUR for two years, I can easily resell it at reg fee at anytime
I sold "whois" in to ccTLDs (tiny islands) for $100/ea, both hand regs with a good ROI compared to the reg fee.
Cloud itself is in the same level with whois, I guess.
