Should SEDO reward you, when you bring TRAFFIC to them ?

I think it might be a nice Idea :xf.smile:

simple :

SEDO is the best Marketplace for domains
they got the most and best sales

so when you list your domains at SEDO and you bring a lot TRAFFIC to them,
i think than they should reward you with may free SHOWCASE or free AUCTIONS or free
DOMAIN APPRAISALS

sample :

you bring 5000 uniques them in a month than you get a free Appraisal or Auction orShowcase

what kind of traffic?

if, the traffic is targeted traffic, then depending on keywords of the domain, you should be earning some ppc.
and that, is your reward

if, the traffic is bot traffic or link traffic, then how valuable is it to sedo, if it isn't converting for you?
and if it is converting, then that's your reward.

you already get to use the platform for free, upfront, and you want a reward for using it, even if you never make a sale there, too?

should other parking and lander providers reward you too?

just asking some of the :poop: that pops in my head...

imo….

:-P

to bring people to SEDO ( customers or investors ) it does,st matter , than SEDO get a benefit for this
if your domains on saleslanders without ppc than you earn nothing
you get a chance to sale your domains of course , but still these people are already on SEDO and maybe taking a deeper look...

that,s why we should get a reward :xf.cool:

there is no benefit:
if traffic is bot traffic
if traffic is paid for traffic, because it is against TOS
if traffic is not looking to buy a domain name, when it points to a lander.
if traffic is seeking something other, than what the link brought it to, on a ppc page.

you can't assume, that if a sale was made, that the buyer was already on sedo
as that buyer may have arrived on the lander, because they typed the domain name in their browser,
or clicked on a link or were directly referred to the landing page, by the seller.

I ain't mad at you for trying to get, whatever you can from Sedo
if they give up something, then it's good for you and good for me too

but, there are certain realities that have to be considered.

imo...

When it comes to parking, we do reward our parking customers for bringing traffic to our website by lowering the sales commission on Buy Now sales to 10%.
How about .APP domains with BuyNow price? 10% or 15% will be deducted?
They can't be parked on Sedo nameservers, only redirected to your lander using SSL cert and URL forwarding at their registrar.

Their reply to my ticket regarding .APP

If you are using the Sedo sales lander, this does count as the domain being parked and the 10% commission would apply as long as the domain is fixed price and the buyer purchases the domain directly through the Sedo marketplace.
