Should I send a low-ball Sedo offer to auction?

I have a domain that I think is somewhat valuable, g a m e r f o r u m s . n e t. As a point of reference, gamersforum.com sold for $2,000 in 2007.

I got a $60 offer for it on Sedo today. Do you think my domain is good enough to attract other bidders? I'm afraid if I send it to auction I won't get any bids, but am also afraid of letting this chance for exposure go by.

For that name, I would take the money and run! But you may as well send it to auction.

The market sets the price, and SEDO has both domainers & end users. If it sells for only $150, that's the market value for current conditions at this particular moment. Next week or next month, it could be an altogether different story.

During the course of the auction, you have the ability to contact potential buyers and bring them to the table. One last comment, a .net will likely sell for a small percentage of a .com, so don't get your hopes too high.

Might actually do better than that on the forum.

OTOH, Game domains seem to do really well on sedo.
