I got an offer for 5 of my domain names for a low price of $200
should I do it ? is it worth it ? or do these domains have hidden value that can be unlocked ?

if i were you id respond to the offer saying they are not for sale at this time but you will contact the person in the future if they are for sale. Id than exhaust every option to sell to endusers and or on namepros in the make an offer section. Seems like a pretty lowball offer. They are brandable and you could potentially get $x,xxx for a couple to end users.

I agree with great_domains $200 seems low for all of them 3 if them you could get more than that on their own from endusers. Have you triedvto sell to endusers yet?

I would sell them... I see only 2 with potential, blockingads and drawingdesign, the rest are not so good, while designphotoshop is a TM. You can try to increase the price a little and sell them.

PS: based on my selling strategy, better less money now that I can invest and make more tomorrow, then a little more in 2-3 years.

I do agree with you shelby. I was simply stating that all possible end user sales should be exhausted prior to Accepting a not so strong offer. If the offer for all was $500> i would have told them to jump all over it.

I did send a response email asking for at least 500 for all and also an opportunity to sell more keywords in the future to him, I stated that, the only way I will let them go for such a price, is if he was willing to buy more in the future, many more, like if I could build lists and send them once a week he could choose from, and buy keywords from me once a week or twice a month with a low price of 250 or something, I can deal with that, since I buy keyword domains almost once a week anyways..
other than that I would sit on them and wait for endusers, I have them listen on sedo and afternic, and pretty much every other website imaginable, while I would want to make the most out of these domains Im more interested in increasing my cash to buy better domains and repeat the cycle, that's the plan, I also want to keep some for myself and develop them which will also require money so all in all I am still just a newb but am trying to build something for myself,
all your comments are greatly appreciated and I will update this thread when I get a response

In all honesty I would not take them for free.

Any sale is a good sale in this industry.

Sell them and move on. But take your profits and bring them to the aftermarket and not hand-reg city.

Those domains are pretty bad, anything over reg fee is a good offer. I'd say take it or later on you'll regret that that's the only offer you could've gotten at that price. Also designphotoshop.com is a TM infringement name.

In all honesty I think all 5 can potentially go for xxx to low xxxx to an enduser but that will take time and patience, I'm really trying build income for now I'm not focused on sitting on domains and waiting for them to sell But I will be doing that in the near future

Believe me, every domainer thinks that his domains worth millions. But the truth is a little different. They can worth a fortune for you and nothing for rest of the world. I believe that some of my domains worth high XXXX too, but if I get a XXX offer today, I will sell them.

If he is a reseller, he's probably going to ditch that one anyway. He's probably just eyeing the "drawingdesigns.com", and pretending to buy the 4 other garbage domains to make it appear like it's a bundle package deal to keep the price down. If you try to show interest on 1 specific domain, it could jack up the price tag.

And if he is a reseller, it's more likely than not, that he is reading about this right now. lol

to be honest ill take a reseller price for it but I don't want to get lowballed, I have so many keyword domains and I find them daily so its pretty much supply and demand a steady client basically for my keywords that im looking for...im not expecting what he would get, since hes probably going to sit on them for a bit and wait for endusers..
but also I don't want to just make one sale and be stuck with low xxx that I will just have to spend on more hard to sell keywords,
I want to invest for better names
