domain Should I renew webaddress.tv?

Well, I just did and I don't know if it was worth it. I have recieved some great info from some folks here about reselling .tv domains on the domain, but haven't had a chance to move forward on that yet.

Any thoughts?

There are many names we've got for so called 'long term investment'. I am not a developer so i can only say that such a keyword as 'webaddress' with such a growing .ext like TV should be kept for a future sale.
Developing is a different thing. You can create any name from nothing to the golden star, as i.e. Google did. From the domainer's point of view it is worth to spend a few $ just to renew such a name.

I dont think it fits the .tv extension, there are much better names to be had, would not renew personally.

Web Address sounds something to do with browsers and well.. websites. You can start something related to that but video like since its .TV .

I DEEPLY disagree with a point of view that webaddress does not match .tv .extension. If you like this .ext to be ONLY related to television, video, media, etc. than ok: IMO, Webaddress is a perfect name just for TV specific for the internet, also for a TV devoted to the internet (about internet) and as we know the internet can be our second world, having so many events and faces. You can have so many programms, shows etc. in such TV with titles also specific to the internet, as nature type of programs: www.animals.on.webaddress.tv, etc. There is so many possibilities. Sure, it demands some lets say, creative thinking, strong will and money to start such a business

Hate to raise the dead (thread) but apparently I missed the responses to this. I want to thank all of you who shared thier opinions on this several months ago. Some days ago, it occurred to me that this domain would make a great internet tv guide.

Anyone looking for online movie clips or comedy shorts? Visit webaddress.tv. sure, they could Google for it. Or they could just visit a one-stop directory. As an added bonus, I could provide .tv domains registrations and add a .tv classifieds section. Anyone know of a good directory program? I might opt for a Joomla site, but that may limit the domain registration angle.
