usgirlfriend.com
uswifes.com
secondhanddomain.com

Braindrainers.com - Nice name for a band/ funny site, high $xx
weightpolice.com - Funny domain as well, but could be very good with development $high xx - low $xxx
greatpension.com - I don't see this as amazing, but maybe I do not see the greatness of this one. Low$xx
rubidus.com - Mid $xx
usgirlfriend.com - Seems a tad too long, but great words otherwise. Mid $xx.
uswifes.com - Seems better than usgirlfriend.com, But not the jackpot =/ high $xx.
secondhanddomain.com - Reg Fee (too long)

first, definately keep your job, whatever it is.

second, your domains are 'ok', but not enough to entertain the possibility of thinking about quitting your day time job.
usgirlfiend seems a little interesting.
uswifes would have been good if it were spelled correctly (plural of a wife is wives)
but still, nothing special.
sorry.

I say get rid of your day job if you aren't happy with it.

Follow your heart and have fun with your work. Work should satisfy you as much as your job function satisfies the business you're in. Does that make sense? :)

I think the domains you grabbed are pretty decent and can make you some decent profit. ;)

wether one should keep their job or not is a very personal issue, in that I agree with you.
However, posting such a post, without the due data and/or knowledge of this market, you are only misguiding someone. It is your right to say whatever you wish, however, I do hope that the OP does not follow such reckless advice, which has the potential of ruining ones income.
the first half of your post is in no way a logical deduction to the lower part.
The OP will in most likelyhood NOT make a decent profit, unless a lunch at McDonalds is its equivalent....

I think you're taking my post too literally, and possibly the OP's. I doubt this person is serious about quiting their day job, and if they are... Then there's obviously someone unhappy with their current job.

To the OP... If you're serious about possibly quiting your day job, I say do it knowing what you're getting yourself into.

But ultimately, be happy with the choice you make. ;)

I wish you the best of luck John :)
I guess some of us take this business seriously, and we reply with the best of intentions.
I apologize latin for not recognizing your humor.

John,

I don't think you made bad choices on the domains at all. Some of them are pretty nice sounding.

You'd be surprised what domains sell for what amount of money. Sometimes you never really know what you're registering. Every domain I've registered personally, has turned out to be a blessing.

Some people take the Gordon Gecko approach on "only betting on sure things"... That's a very business minded way of approaching it, I like this approach occasionally, but the gambling approach to me is always the most fun. ;)
