There are lots of keywords in this situation. Some are even taken in all gtld (com/org/info/biz) plus some cctlds (us/co.uk/de), but still available in .net. I don't reg these automatically, but domains in this situation certainly deserve consideration. As mentioned above, we can't actually tell you if its worth it or not without knowing the keywords.

Try checking overture and google results to get a better idea of keyword desireability.

Yeah, thinking twice about registering domain ... i'm trying to avoid the "reg fee" domains :D

I just found a domain in a .com thats taken in org and net and has over 54,000 results on google without extension when typed in as "TheseThreeWords"

hmm after the first hour it slowed to about 12/day or so. the .net is a parked domain as well.
