Start reading this forum thoroughly will be a start then read www.namenewbies.com - then read some more, some more and some more and don't stop learning everything you can about this entire industry if you are serious about making money in it. If you don't, like any addiction, snare, it'll bite you in the ass one day as you realise you've regged a whole load of names, which in themselves could be good names, but if they are sitting on the wrong extension are worth not a bean.

You may get very low $xx on these, but is it seriously worth the time and trouble?

Better to enjoy the learning curve first, then after you've learn't a lot more, maybe then and only then, buy something which has some real prospects, is easier to sell, for a greater profit.

Why make such hard work from domaining, if you don't have to?

Obviously, you won't impress anyone at NamePros with that selection. However, old photos bring decent money on Ebay so if you built a site on that subject, you can probably make some money from Ebay affiliate links.
