I thought I'd start a new break room thread. The great thing about this thread is you can say whatever the heck you want (except adult) and it's ON TOPIC.

All you have to do is post whatever is in your head when you are here. Simple.

Here are some acronyms we like to use:

YPSBT Your Post Sucks Big Time
YPITDB Your post is the dog's bollox
LPOD - Last Post of Day
FPOD - First....
SPOD - Second.
FPOTWN - Funny Post of the Week Nominee

JDAB - He has hot women on his new bed... but he worked hard for them
Rogue - Called Rouge more often than the movie Moulin Rouge

SPECIAL SPECIAL GUESTS
Blobfish and girlfriend.

Grace Delete / DefaultUser / WorldsWorstDomainer will personally thank EVERY SINGLE post in this thread UNTIL someone says something about post count and gets too obsessed about reputations and starts gaming the system etc.

^ That has happened so no more ...was fun while it lasted.

Johname will personally LIKE every post in this thread until he doesn't

No racist, sexist, homophobic material that woudnt be acceptable in the 70s please.
We are ok with boobs and we are ok with men with abs (or whatever it is that makes them attractive). Ogling is healthy. Violence, not accepting that it is shallow and non-meaninful judge of people etc. is not. The most important virtue of this thread is respect for all.

Here are some topics that this thread has had:

I AM PERSONALLY UNDECIDED ON SOME POLITICS so things like the below?
I think the crowd should decide.

Your father served? And if the war would have lasted a few years, you would have also?

Yes, daddy served.
In various theaters of war.
Probably if the war had gone on longer, I probably either not here or younger.
Dad served in many wars, last one was Vietnam.
Why he was so against me ever joining the military or getting called up on the draft.
His escape plan for me was Canada, with family up there.
My escape plan was Mexico (warmer).
But never got drafted.

Hats off to your dad @iowadawg !Sounds like a loving father!
you'd probably burnt the candle at both ends in Mexico and lived a way shorter life with less generations...you probably make Prime Minister in Canada...

More to the story, but one would have to wait for my autobiography to come out.

And the dad is still alive at 95.

That's a pretty respectable age. My mother in law lived till 99, just 5 months short of a century.

Hey Joe, would be nice to see a picture of all the generations together

Good, caring dad to look out for you. I can't imagine anyone wanting their kids sent into danger.

My immediate family lucked out on military service - father and grandfathers all called up and served, none sent overseas - my dad during WWII, grandfathers during WWI. (Not sure about my uncle, but he was quite a bit older than my father and probably served between wars.) My grandfather's cousin was in the diplomatic corps during WWI, vice consul stationed in Russia and in later years ran consulates in the far east. He earned a few brief mentions in the history books. Their family and friends back in the "old country" weren't so lucky, many lost lives in the wars.

Not supposed to play online here for real cash even. Kind of killed that internet niche.
You can here - just have to play at state licensed casinos and have to be in-state when you do.

I hate that over priced coffee shop.
Great branding even when hater can recognize the logo...

cropping (of course top one could have been cropped till "nip" levell) way easier than photoshopping.
