advice Shall I buy potential high value domain for longer period? (in case domain register raise renaprice)

the domain "exampleabc123.com" is available for sale at the price of 20K

i just bought the domain "exampleabc123.xyz" for the fraction of the cost for a year.

i am wondering if there is any point to buy it for 5 or 10 years. (just in case the renewal price jump too much after a year)
