Check the end of the thread for the latest LLL.in drops. Current full available lists are posted intermittently by members, and the most current would be toward the end of the thread also. Otherwise, user Chandan often has an updated available list on his external site, here: Available LLL.in Domains list - Indian Blogs

With all these drops, i've come to the conclusion that LLL.ins have been slightly overvalued in the past 6-12 months....

On average, I'd say about 1-2 LLL.in drop per day. Were not even past the first year since the buyout so you can expect names to drop like this... nothing unusual imo.

Once in a while we see large lists drop - like that above, but most are from single users portfolios (as in this case)... for whatever reason, most likely because the user forgot about renewing these or doesn't know the value.

Whats important is that they will get snapped up as soon as they drop - and just watch how quickly that happens.

We are still likely to see more drops, larger numbers of drops come December and January - because this was the time when many people bought large numbers of LLL.in's in hype of the buyout - most were low quality letters and they bought at $3-$4 per name. Renewal these same names will cost $14 or so... which most will find too much considering their large portfolios.

The smart ones will have unloaded the lesser quality names with around 5-6 months reg remaining... for decent ROI and used the funds to renew the better names they hold. Others may have left it too late and face a dilemma to either renew at $14 a pop or let drop... or just sell off for under $5-$6 each (still profitable though).

I think we'll be able to judge the LLL.in market better in early-mid 2009 (March-May). The good quality letters will definitely rise in price - I have no doubt about that... the lesser quality ones will still rise imo, but whether they will give good worthwhile ROI or not for shorter term holds is uncertain.

And I also agree with this point.
