Purchased the domain via a private sale a few years ago for a project in the web hosting space, but one I didn't have the proper time to develop. Curious where it stands today in terms of value.

I had the keyword analyzed most recently globally and across markets where English traditionally is or may be used in searching for servers.

Globally, this specific keyword gets just over 450K searches per month, and if we add target-specific "minecraft server", "server hosting" and "web server" as terms, we are now at 1.35M searches per month.

The average Google CPC costs for above terms vary from $5 to $15, and in the $30-50 per click range for more specific category products like managed/dedicated/cloud server hosting.

I would love your input on what you think the name is worth. Plenty of ideas: from a website/database/deals on servers, to hardware retail, to actual business spin-off under a strong, well searched for and catchy name in the web hosting industry.

I see a past sale of it in a database I'm looking at

...mid / high thousands, sexy domain (one of my favourites I've seen in the appraisal section, for a good while)

Not sure it would be in that same database. It was a private sale after I noticed it didn't sell for the asking price in a public auction. Mid thousands is what I paid for it in 2017. Perhaps I slightly overpaid back then, but it was perfect for what I was looking to do with it. Still in love with it actually.

@Artashes Must have been another occasion. I reckon you still did fine ...even developing with this domain, the scope is vast. Working with some experienced devs that have developed stuff with servers, telling them you've got this domain - They'd be considering a partnership (if you had the right guys)
