Serious website question

Whats up, I am a newbie to web design but I am interested in started an email based website. The name of my site is www.mailpocket.com and I am between selling it and actually developing it into an email, news, etc site.

I am interested in web based email the type that yahoo, google, aol, or any other site uses, how do I make it so that the users can log in with a password and so forth.

ah man wish you asked this about 2 years ago think there was a website with open source called nmail i believe that had the code to do it, they made an attempt, but were getting hacked so they gave up, but that was exactlyy what you would need it was like yahoo

I am not aware of any script that could help you do that. You can try searching at hotscripts.com to see if you get any luck there.
You can also hire a freelance programmer to do the job for you. It's definitly do-able.
