:D First of all I am not calling all SEO's spammers.

But from somedays I have been receiving lots of useless emails.

That this and that site of mine is on 1st page and they can take it to better position. :D Now lol if I brought it till first page wouldn't I myself take it to better positions by giving the proper time and efforts on it? But that is not an issue.

The funny part is that, Do SEO's need to send emails to people like this telling them they can do great SEO work. If they are such kick a$$ then why don't they rank #1 themselves with their Sales page offering SEO services :-/

What do you think? Do you agree with that :)

i do a lot of article submission and when my article is posted on a domain, they email me instead to get their site listed on that site, which obviously belongs to the article directory owner.

If they report to spamming then it shows that ehics are not upto par so they most likly will use spamming / black hat techniques to help you rank.

These techniques may work short term but inthe long run yoursitewould be punished.

It is getting out of control :'( around 500 of those emails per day.

The thing is that they are smart enough to pick up the sites that are already ranking :D Means I think they don't even want to work on it. Will just search for it in google and show me that "hey it ranks" :D

They suck! I get those emails a couple of times a day. They CAN get you on the first page on google though. Not for the keyword you want, but longtail keywords that are easy to rank for and send almost no visitors.

That's fine guys.. spammers have been telling bill gates they can help him earn more money :)

I agree with folks who say if you are so good why don't you rank for the keywords yourself :D

I've got several too, here's one that I always receive almost weekly:

My name is **name removed** and I just wanted to tell you that I have recently viewed your website **url removed**, I think you show real insight into the issue of SEO and SEM. It would be a great pleasure to introduce my company to you.

**name removed** has put together a team in India that specializes in doing the tasks that are so important to any SEO campaign yet are the most labor intensive parts. We specialize in white hat, strictly manual link building and high quality, original content creation for wholesale SEO clients.

et., etc. blurb, blurb...

Sometimes I reply.. "Me too!" :hehe:

If they are good with SEO - then they should just stop sending those emails and dominate the SERPs :D They get more clients that way, lols :D
