I the recent future I want to launch (as an experiment) a community with English speaking, Spanisch or Portugues seniors (or those seniors who have roots over there :p) in the spotlights. But the first I want to know is what these domains are worth? Thank you in advance!

Sénior.com (Spanisch) and Sênior.com (Portuguese)

I am not sure this is the correct way to say Senior in those languages....

I searched around and it's written a lot without the é.
When I take personalized search (Portuguese) with google on " sênior "
I get the right way, in Spanisch it's more without the é, but regularly I
see " sénoir "

Well, if it really means senior in spanish/portuguese, then you got yourself from pretty nice domains. with prices these days you are only looking at low xxx for now, BUT since you want to develop these, it is a WHOLE DIFFERENT BALL GAME! Check your PM for some information ;)

I had some problems with my previous account, password doesn't reset proper.
Can you send the PM to this account? Thanks! I'm getting addicted to the domain world :alien:

I've also registered:

www.relationGuide.com

www.relationGuides.com

www.relationsGuides.com

When I create a subdomain I can get very nice combinations:

public.relationguide.com

business.relationguide.com

A possible project: create your account, make your profile and teach each
other about relations and other things about human contact, networking etc

how far away exactly is the "recent future"?

I think in spanish it should be "Señor", not "Sénior"

And Señor.com, net, org, info and biz are already taken. Maybe you can find a country tld domain.

You're right, my mistake :)

I searched on the internet, a lot of spanisch articles are using "sénior" (what's wrong) Babylon translator gives it also as "sénior" (also wrong) .. :(

But the Portuguese one is (I think) right :) (and there are a lot of Portuguese speaking people) 170 000 000 people (http://education.yahoo.com/reference/encyclopedia/entry/Portlang)

Mmm, what do you guys think?

@kubativity: as soon as possible, I'm now in a period of examination and during the schoolyear we have a lot of "projects", so this is something for in my spare time, I don't know exactly!

This is not true, "ñ" is not a valid character in domain.
In the other hand the right word in spanish is SENIOR just like that. Señor is translation for MISTER.
SENIOR is just old people, and in spanish is the same: SENIOR.

Hasta la vista!!

I've made some extra research (ok, my first researche was not enough, lesson for in the future)

"sénior" gives the following explanation:

adj.,
mais velho;
s. m.,
categoria dos desportistas que possuem mais de dezoito anos de idade.

Because I'm not Portuese I asked on a chatbox what it said.

Result:

the adjective means: "senior" "elder"

the noun means: people who practice sports that are over 18 years old

So I find these some good Portuguese keywords, what do you think? I heard that Brazil has developed a very stable democracy and it has at the moment a booming industrie.

I have also the domain: www.refúgio.com , also Portuguese, means shelter, resort, place were you can flee to, ...

And finally www.competição.com , or competition, tournament, contest, rivalry, match, race in English

I'm focusing a little on the Brazil market :p

Anybody a comment?

Are you joking? Of course ñ is a valid letter in a domain! Go to Señor.com. They are known as International Domain Names. You can register them at Domainsite.com

I've had a chat with a native Spanish about "sénior" Plz give your comment if
you eventually read that piece. What is the value of the domain after everything you have read in this thread? Thanks for the appraisal!

The chat on my webspace:

http://users.fulladsl.be/spb14280/

After all, señor may be the most used, with sénior there is a very clear link with the English senior
