Arizona Republican Seator John McCain recently opined humorously that “I think I’d just commit suicide” when asked what he’d likely do if the Democrats win the House and Senate.
Appearing at a Des Moines country club with congressional candidate Jeff Lamberti of Ankeny and U.S. Rep. Tom Latham, R-Iowa, he added with a smile, “I don’t want to face that eventuality because I don’t think it’s going to happen”.
