Hey

Ok I was in the chatroom and asked for some opinions on my domain names. 2 people negotiated with me, and i started sorta an auction between them, now I tried to put down a price that whoever replyed first, however one person won and the other complained, and i realised that this is not fair, so i kept pushing up the price between them and in the end they both withdrew their bids. I relaise that i shouldnt have been so greedy, but i didnt know how to fairly settle it while still makin a good profit

now my question is, what could i have done ot make it fair for both sides?

the domain I was selling was addictivepoker.com and yes its still available

anyway as always all opinions/suggestions welcomes

Just let them bid amongst themselves and when one of them can’t bid anymore, sell it to the other person.

Simple as that. :)

Don't sell domains in live chat??? That's my suggestion.

FOR SALE SECTION or
AUCTION SECTION

If anyone's interested, they will go bid. :gl:

IMO

Good luck.

I agree. That way you will keep situations like that from happening.

I recently had a sale going at NP "Domains For Sale", mentioned it in Chat, and one of the eventual buyers ended up coming from Chat to make a purchase. If a name comes up and there are parties there who are interested in buying it, you could sort of reverse what I did, and announce that you will open up an auction for the name and invite them to your NP Auction, which would give you a more formal and better way to control the auction, and also could bring in other potential buyers because of the increased exposure. I would just open up a new auction in the Marketplace, as has been suggested.
