Heya,
I'm currently selling text or graphic links on my site, www.gimpshop.com. It receives around 1250 uniques per day, sometimes way higher and sometimes in the 1100s, and this is growing steadily. I have done no advertising whatsoever; it's the site itself that has allowed its popularity to grow. The stats do NOT include any hits I get on the forum; these are the stats for the site itself.
I have traffic pictures from the past year further down in the post so you can see the traffic is steadily going upward.
Stats:
June: 17937 uniques; 33702 pageloads
July: 13241 uniques; 25469 pageloads
August: 16223 uniques; 32838 pageloads
September: 28016 uniques; 60891 pageloads
October: 37063 uniques; 83370 pageloads
November (as of November 11): 14005 uniques; 29270 pageloads

GIMPshop is a modified version of the GIMP image manipulation software. It just takes GIMP and makes it look like Photoshop so that it's easier for those people who are used to Photoshop to make a conversion to a free graphics editing program, GIMP.
The visitors to the website are 1/20 type-in and 19/20 linked from other sites.
I've currently got one advertiser on the site, (I've had no need for advertisers, and like to keep the page clean), but now figured I'll dabble in this arena and see if anyone is interested. The guy who has the ad on the page is paying the same rate he paid a year ago when I sold him the ad, when I was getting only ~500 hits/month. That is to say that I will keep the rate constant if you stay with me, no matter how large the site gets.

Text link along the right, under the "get firefox" banner - $14.95/month
Image link (banner) along the right, in place of the Firefox banner - $24.95/month
Text link across the bottom, right below the Paypal button - $10.95/month
Image link (banner) across the bottom, right below the Paypal button - $22.95/month
I will only put one ad on the bottom, *either* a text or a banner, not both.
Text links are limited to the URL plus maybe a three word description. Image banners should be 120x240 or smaller for the side banner, and 468x60 pixels or smaller for the bottom. (see what these sizes look like here: http://www.webpencil.com/bannersizes.htm)
If anyone has any questions, please feel free to PM me or ask in this thread. I am open to negotiations if you are interested in more than a couple of months, so don't hesitate to inquire.
