Looking to put some holiday season cash in your stocking?

We checked our names, and then checked them twice and it turns out we want more!

We are assessing a flurry of portfolios from domain name owners offering to sell names to NameMedia by year end. In many cases we are buying.

If you would like to sell a single name or large portfolio before the close of 2007, simply contact me directly at 781-839-2812, or email me at plamson (at) namemedia.com.

Here’s to a happy and profitable New Year!

Many thanks for submitting your names to NameMedia.

We have had an overwhelming response to our request for portfolios – a nice problem to have and a terrific opportunity for both buyers and sellers.

We want to give each portfolio the attention and consideration it deserves – and at this point I think it is likely that our analysis will spill into the New Year.

Stay tuned – we will be in touch and you are certainly not forgotten!

All the best and Happy New Year!

Pete

I've send an email with 8 domains, but after reading this post, I don't think they are the people that you want to sell to. Are they really that cheap?

They are cheap, but I sold countless domains to them when I was a newbie.

I have heard from a few people they offer $xxx in some cases for LLL.com

Even letters like WXY.com would be low xxxx. It must be those who are in need of cash disposing them off.

Well i received an offer from them for a .co.uk that i hand-regged three months back
The offer was $90, after negotiating we finalized the sale for $110. Not bad I say.

Dante-Not bad at all. Anyway I sent them a few more names for consideration. Hopefully I will get a response back.

Good on you mate! I haven't heard a word yet, this could have something to do with I offered them my "domains I wish I didn't registrar - What was I thinking!" :). Anyone else heard anything from NameMedia?

I sent them a list in early November (and received confirmation that they had gotten it), called them in early December, was contacted and asked to resubmit my list (and did so) in mid-December

and still I wait ....

I sent them about 20 names including LLL.us and they were interested in none of them.

I sent some in to see if they would take some crap names. They were turned down. They want semi good names.

I have had many friendly emails with the owner, Pete Plamson. I have no clue exactly what he is looking for, but he did not find it with my names ether. I sure do appreceiate that he looked at them.

I say to give it a shot, maybe some of your names will be exactly what they are looking for. It might be of help if Namemedia would specify what names will catch their interest.

I like the new catch phrase in my community and maybe it can catch on here, "buy local".
