Hello, What do you think of selftaken.com?

People LOVE to take pictures from themselves, places they visit, and so on. And they need a website like selftaken.com for their self-taken photos (and videos).

Well, I would say $0 for this one.
However, it's memorable and has a personal appeal to it.
End users ain't there directly for this one.
I would recommend, and as you said, to develop a small social media selfie site where people could upload selfie and this could be one of those pages like milliondollarhomepage type where you could only post a smiling selfie of yours.
No sad faces. You can try that out.
Other than that, registration fee for the name.
