Who's signed up for the domain discount club since the self-brokerage has become available on Afternic?
Is there a number of purchases where it becomes viable? I'm guessing 20 a year wouldn't be worth it?If you are buying names from auctions/closeouts then it’s worth it as you’ll save more than it costs.

Hi
can you explain that rationale?
tks
imo...
Are you saying you can’t use lease to own with self brokering? If so that makes no sense. All a buyer needs to do is click the button. ThanksAs soon as those multi-colored monkeys start flying out of my arse, I will sign up.
I wonder what white shirt came up with this idea of tying self brokerage to DDC...add to it the lack of lease to own option being available and I'm not wasting my time going to the site any longer. Maybe a new CEO will shake things up and get it back to what it used to be.
HiSo if DC costs $300/y then 30 names a year means you break even
As sure as the sun will rise in the morning.what's next...an increase in ddc fee?

So if DC costs $300/y then 30 names a year means you break even (30*$10=$300) and everything else is profit.
without couting purchase price!!Your math is bad. Your cost with buying just 30 names would be $600.
...which is horrible.
why you will buy a mediocre name from auctions, auctions meant for high quality domains that you will not care about small difference cost!!He was referring to expired auction purchases. When you win an expired auction at GD you pay the winning bid plus a years renewal (20 bucks) and some other non descript "fees and taxes" (making a 25 dollar auction win around 50 dollars). In this scenario you have no choice but to pay the inflated price as you can't choose where a domain expires.
For new registrations you would indeed be insane to use GD at their mad prices (although cheap compared to NS).
Domain discount now means you pay 200 plus bucks a year to pay more than the price at other registries. oh you get to buy auctions or closeouts and pay 12 instead of 20, Godaddy closeouts suck and now every other registry has them too and there less watched so GD can FO, oh we get domain academy FREEEEEE WEEEEEEEE WOWWWWWWW Alert ASK chat.com they will give you all the tools you want ,tell them you want a tool for this or that they will give you many options Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee godaddyWhen you buy a GD auction or closeout name you pay a renewal at GD. Discount club turns it roughly from $20 to $10.
So if DC costs $300/y then 30 names a year means you break even (30*$10=$300) and everything else is profit.
If you keep your names at GD this compounds every year. I don’t, but I buy more than enough names to make It worth it just in the initial purchases.
Plus you get all the other DC stuff like training, tools, and self brokerage.

So don't buy a profitable name because its with GD?Domain discount now means you pay 200 plus bucks a year to pay more than the price at other registries. oh you get to buy auctions or closeouts and pay 12 instead of 20, Godaddy closeouts suck and now every other registry has them too and there less watched so GD can FO
the best domains at gd auctions have to be sniped when they come on the board so ill pay 60 instead of 50 total nbd when they get down to 5 or 11 you may as well go to expired domains and scan the hell out of the pagesSo don't buy a profitable name because its with GD?
