I get most of my offers from the contact me link on the parking page. The link goes to a page where they can make me an offer using a simple form.

1) I was getting so many lowball offers, that on the form, I asked for a minimum offer of $500. I know. Some of my domains are not worth that much. This cut down on most of the low-ball offers. However. Yep you've guessed it. The only offers I ever get are for $500. Completely giving away any advantage I might have had by not naming my price first. It's now up to me to name my first price.

2) When I reply to the offer made, I thank them for their interest and state the price for this domain is $, and that any transaction would be processed via Escrow.com with buyer paying the escrow fees (mostly because it costs me $40 to wire transfer the funds to me). I kinda feel I'm not leaving enough wriggle room for them to come back with a counter offer.

I tried to find Justin's good negotiation thread but couldn't find it. But if anyone has any suggestions. I'm listening.

Humm... well means if you suggest the range of 500 people will always stick with 500 and then even 501 will hurt them. So the good thing is to name you price a bit higher then you expect :)
