Currently Sedo shows seller's country and I feel some prospective buyers on noticing the Seller's country seem to value the name adversely.
I had a bid on one of my domain at Sedo. While countering with my offer, I bought to his notice the Estibot Appraisal value for the name which was in $ XX,XXX range.
The bidder stuck to his low XXXX offer with an comment - "Different websites outside India show different values of this domain. This is my final offer."
After a few weeks someone emailed me(through the anonymized whois email) exactly similar offer, stating that "Well you are from India and what I am offering you is a lot of money in your currency. I think it will be a smart move to accept my offer."
I don't face such mentality at DAN, UNI or other platforms as they don't make the seller's country public on the domain offer page. If I am not wrong, DAN and UNI only reveal the Seller's Country & Address on Invoice, once the sale/transfer has been completed.
