Just added my first ever domains to sedo and activated the sedopremiummls. Set the price to buy now.

1) How do I know if there sent to auction? I can find them listed under sedos marketplace if that means there at auction

2) it looks like I can still add text to offer descriptions, should I be adding something here? Like what my domain can be branded for or something?

3) Will sedo fck me over if I change my registrar contact details from what I set my Sedo details too? I want to buy a few more domains for affiliating purposes and dont want my real info too be displayed under the whois. SO either I have to change my contact info slightly or create a new go daddy account for affiliating domains.

previous member's comments may seem sarcastic, and probably so will mine

but if you bother to READ the TOS and info on "how to sell and how to buy domains" on Sedo, then you wouldn't be asking such questions here.

ALWAYS read the terms and benefits of any service you use first.

1. you have to get an offer first, before you can send to auction


2. you can still add content in descriptions, if you want but not required.

3. you'll probably fuck yourself, trying to hide your true identity.


how can your domains be verified if you have different whois profiles?

From my experience, Sedo will sometimes ask you to change certain settings in your Registrar account for that domain, like nameservers, to see if you really have control over the domain.

Another method is to send Sedo a screenshot of your domain portfolio in your registrar account showing that specific domain being listed in your account.

In fact, Sedo verified my domains in the past even with whois privacy enabled. I didn't encounter any hassle.

Or if you do have whois privacy for the domain in question, just switch it off while Sedo verifies your ownership. Then switch it back on, after you get verified. Problem solved.

If you have your names set with a buy now, they won't be sent to auction. Is not an option if there is a buy now.
