Sedo. Pricetag on domainname or not?

Any advise what's the best strategy to get your names sold on sedo? So should I leave the pricetag blank (make offer) or put a price on it. I can imagine that a pricetag gives more clearness to potential buyers, instead of leaving the price open.
Advise on what's the best strategy (pricetag or not) by people that sold a lot through Sedo is welcome.

You wouldn't like walking into a retail store and having to ask the price, right?

If you really want to sell the domain, the asking price should be marked IMO

But with that, you are taking the risk of underpricing your domain.. what if the buyer is willing to pay more then the asking price? Now that you showed them the price you are looking for, they won't pay higher.. just my 2 cents

Which is worse... underpricing (hopefully you have some idea of it's worth) or NOT selling (which you definitely are at risk of doing)?

I don't have any of my domains priced.. but mainly because I don't care if the bulk of them sell as yet.. when I'm ready to sell, I'll price them.

When things can be priced very high, then it is always good to keep in mind, " if you have to ask the price, you can not afford it."

I have not used that service before, so if you have space to place a comment, you could put something like " make me an offer I can not refuse!"

SEDO Sales

I can tell you that the domains I have sold through SEDO have always been priced. As long as you input a price you can feel comfortable selling the domain at then you shouldn't have any problems, right?

One other thing. Always add 10-25% to what you would sell it for so you can give some wiggle if (when) there are negotiations. Generally if someone offers me within 25% of my list price I will accept it without negotiations because often times people will simply cancel the bid if they don't get their first price and I am usually happy making a few hundred bucks on a domain I paid $6.95 for anyway.

I think it is best to Always state your price, unless there is some other compelling reason not to.
